The GMAT is an essential component of any student’s application to an MBA or other graduate program in business administration.

Stratus Prep offers three uniquely customized approaches for students preparing for the GMAT: Our Live Classroom Class, Our Virtual Video Class, and One-on-One Tutoring. These three approaches can be combined for students who first seek to gain a better understanding of the examination and then wish to focus on the finer points of their preparation with a private tutor.

Stratus Prep's Live Classroom Class

The Live Classroom Class consists of 10 Lessons all taught by Shawn O'Connor, a Graduate of Harvard Business School (REAL GMAT: 780) and Director of Stratus Prep.

While the Lessons vary slightly in length, they average four hours each and thus offer students approximately 40 hours of exceptional instruction.

The class begins with our Overview Lesson which outlines the structure of the test, how it is graded, and specific strategies for taking an examination on computer.

We follow this with 4 Verbal Lessons which cover Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning/Arguments, Sentence Completion, and the AWA/Essays. Our program also includes 5 Math Lessons which cover both Open-Ended and Data Sufficiency Problems and provide a comprehensive review of the specific concepts tested on the exam including geometry, algebra, and word problems.

The Live Classroom Classes are all held at Stratus Prep's Midtown West location.
As with all Stratus Prep courses, enrollment is limited to just 15 students to ensure that students get the the personalized attention they need and deserve in order to attain their professional and academic goals.

The cost of the course is $1,599. This includes all materials that a student will require including Stratus Prep's proprietary 10 Lesson Coursebook and over 1,200 Real GMAT practice questions.

Given the small class size and high demand for Stratus Prep's Live Classroom GMAT Classes, we do require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your space in an upcoming class.

Upcoming Live Classroom Class Schedules will be posted soon! For further information, please call us at (212) 307-1788.

Stratus Prep’s Virtual Video Class

Our Virtual Video Class is ideal for today’s busy students and professionals who cannot commit to a pre-established class schedule. Since students can watch any or all of the videos (each of which is a self-contained unit), students do not need to waste money and time reviewing parts of the test that they have already mastered.

The class consists of 10 Lessons all taught by Ari Freiser, Director of Stratus Prep's Boston office, who has developed and refined our GMAT program and prepared students for this and other graduate school examinations for over 10 years. While the Lessons vary in length, they average slightly less than five hours each and thus offer students approximately 45 hours of exceptional, professional instruction at a fraction of the cost of other prep courses.

Lessons in Stratus Prep's Virtual Video Class can be viewed by appointment in the company’s Midtown West location where we offer flexible evening and weekend hours to accommodate your busy schedule.

Students can choose to purchase the full Virtual Video Class for $1,100 (a savings of $499 off the Live Classroom Class). Alternatively, they can choose to view individual lessons for just $150/lesson.

One-on-One Tutoring

Stratus Prep also offers the students the opportunity to complete part or all of their GMAT preparation with a live instructor who has scored over a 750 and has at least two years of teaching experience.

Students often choose to supplement the Live Classroom Class or Virtual Video Class with One-on-One Tutoring which offers them the opportunity to go over questions they have about the Video Lessons as well as to review the practice problems that they have completed.

Other students choose to complete all or any part of their GMAT preparation with a Stratus PrepTutor.
